Last night I attended Dolly Parton’s Pure and Simple Tour. This tour is promoting Dolly’s 43rd studio album Pure and Simple, due to be released on August 8th. The Pure and Simple Tour is Dolly’s largest tour to date visiting 60 cities across the US and Canada. Covering all of Dolly’s hits that includes “Jolene”, “Here You Come Again”, “9 to 5” and a couple new song’s off the Pure and Simple album.
Dolly sounds as good as she did when she was in her twenty’s and isn’t afraid to show off her pipes with songs like “Little Sparrow” and “I Will Always Love You”. The amount of instruments that Dolly can play is unbelievable, this lady can play everything from a saxaphone to a banjo. Pure and Simple is full of music, jokes, stories, and is as entertaining as a Saturday night variety TV show.
So if you get the chance to see Dolly on one of her tour stops make sure you pick up some tickets, you won’t regret it. She’s funny, she’s talented, she’s an entertainer, she’s a country music legend, well she’s Dolly.
